em2 - Employee roles and restrictions

Each employee listed in MechanicDesk can have separate roles and restrictions applies to them. These can be edited as you are creating a new employee or edited by clicking on an existing employee.


(a) Roles (bottom of employee details view)

(b) Additional restrictions (top right hand corner of employee information view)


(c) A rundown of the roles and their respective privilege levels is provided below:


Admin:     full access to entire system

Staff:        like admin but with no settings access

Mechanic:   designed to allow the mechanic to work on the job and issue invoices by themselves (cannot see overview information such as list of all invoices, reports, etc.)
Restricted Mechanic:     access to jobs and inventory only
